Privacy Policy
This policy explains privacy on the Peetham website in plain terms. The short version: the website collects nothing. A consultation enquiry happens from your own device, through channels you deliberately open.
1. The website collects nothing
- No accounts or sign-up. There is nothing to register for and no profile is created.
- No cookies, no analytics, no advertising, no tracking pixels. The website makes no requests to analytics or advertising services of any kind.
- No form data is stored or transmitted by us. The consultation form runs entirely in your browser. When you press "Send via WhatsApp", your browser composes the message locally and opens WhatsApp with it addressed to the studio. The website's host never receives the contents of your form.
2. What happens when you choose to contact the studio
- WhatsApp: your enquiry (including whatever you entered in the form: name, city, email, phone, design interest and brief) is sent through WhatsApp to the Peetham studio over +91 98180 35027. Message transmission is handled by WhatsApp/Meta and subject to WhatsApp's privacy policy.
- Email: choosing the email options opens your own mail application with our address pre-filled. Your message is handled by your email provider and subject to your provider's terms.
- Phone: calling the studio takes place over your own telephone service.
- We recommend sharing only information you are comfortable sending over those channels. Please consider whether WhatsApp or email suits your enquiry before including photographs or sensitive details.
The key distinction: "the website" (this website, its hosting, its code) does not receive or keep your data. The studio receives it once you send a message, and the platform you send it through (WhatsApp, your email provider) processes it along the way.
3. Hosting and server logs
The site is served as static files by Vercel. Like any web host, Vercel may process standard technical request data (IP address, user agent, timestamps) for delivery, security and abuse prevention, under its own privacy terms. No visitor content — form inputs or enquiry text — passes through that hosting.
4. Use of the data the studio receives
Once an enquiry reaches the studio, the details you shared are used only to respond to your enquiry: understanding your space, preparing consultation, and corresponding with you. The studio does not sell your information or use it to advertise to anyone.
5. Third-party content
The website embeds its own imagery and sets no third-party embeds, fonts or scripts that would phone home.
6. Children
The website is intended for adults considering a home design consultation and is not directed at children.
7. Your rights
India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 gives you rights over personal data — to access, correct, and seek its deletion, and to withdraw any consent you gave. Because the website itself does not process your data, exercising these rights is a matter for the channel involved: for messages you sent to the studio, contact the studio (details below); for transmission platforms, consult their own privacy controls. We will honour any deletion request about studio-held correspondence within applicable timelines.
8. Changes to this policy
The policy may be updated from time to time; the effective date above will change and the updated version will apply from its posting.
